Development Through Play

To Whom It May Concern:
I have had the pleasure of knowing Jerry Flaming for 3 years. I first met Jerry when he was working with Kids Around The World. Jerry constructed playgrounds, and our school was in need of someone to build our playground. We had raised enough money to purchase the playground equipment, but could not afford to pay someone to construct this for us. I was then and am currently on the PTO Executive Board holding the office of treasurer. I was able to work closely with the whole construction team including Jerry who was the Supervisor of the project.
Jerry has a love for children and a real desire to make a difference in their lives. When we came to him with our request for a construction team to build our playground, he was determined to find a way to help us. He worked closely with the school district to make sure everything was followed as necessary. He worked with us and our schedule to coordinate the best possible time to construct the playground. He constructed the 1st phase of the playground in June of 2006, and the 2nd phase of t he playground in May of 2007. Jerry coordinated volunteers from the community to aide in the construction of the playground. The construction was finished in the time frame designated and looked amazing when completed.
Since the construction of the playground Jerry has since moved to Custom Playgrounds. This fall we had some repairs that were needed on our existing playground due to vandalism. I still had Jerry's cell phone number and called him to see if there was a way he could help us. Without hesitation, Jerry said he would come out to see what we needed for repairs. In a matter of a few days Jerry had a crew out and our playground was fixed.
I would recommend Jerry and his team to construct a playground or assist with any playground needs that you may have. He is very skilled in playground construction, and he has a passion for helping children. He knows firsthand what having a new playground means to children who may not always have much else to look forward to in their lives. This is more than another construction job for Jerry; this is about making a difference in the lives of children, which is why he invests his time.
